Kobe City Foreign Cemetery
It is located approximately 300 meters northwest of Shuhogahara Pond in the Atai Park near the summit of Mt. Matai in the Rokko Mountains, and has a vast site of approximately 14 hectares. It has a long history, and in 1867 a cemetery for foreigners was built in Onohama near the mouth of the Ikuta River, and in October 1960 it was moved to its current location, where it remains today.
